Coal Preparation » General
The database is designed to hold raw sizing and float-sink data for coal preparation process equipment.
In order to maximise the value of the data, associated information is also stored that includes all available information about the nature of the installation and operation, as well as notes on how samples were collected (where available).
Where applicable, the raw data has been subjected to a standardised calculation spreadsheet that determines the best-fit model for partition curves for a density based separation. The User may choose to use the best-fit model information provided, or alternatively use the data in whatever manner they see fit.
The database is designed primarily to be a repository for raw data. The raw data is considered to make sure there are no obvious flaws in the manner in which the data is generated, prior to acceptance into the database.
