The outcomes from this ACARP project are available via the latest coal preparation equipment performance database which is now on-line and available for download from a dedicated website - www.acarp-unitoperationsdatabase.com

This project involves the active procurement and ongoing assessment, interpretation and updating of a user-friendly database for coal preparation unit operation process performance. The database is designed to incorporate information from all unit operations including sizing and dewatering. The project also provides a service to industry personnel to assist planning of sampling and analysis programs, in order to maximise information outcomes within existing constraints, and to ensure uniformity of interpretation of raw data.

Where available, the database incorporates process configuration, equipment configuration, carrier medium information (magnetite slurry, process water, where applicable), size distribution, process loading, and sampling details.

Users can:

View detailed performance information including size-by-size partition data;

View model-fit parameters;

Cut and paste the data to other applications; and

Export datasets for use in other applications.

The database is updated as new information becomes available.
